Cake washing for a perfect liquid-solid separation
For some applications, it is extremely important for the filter cake to not contain traces of the initial liquid . In these circumstances the filter cake can be washed (e.g with water) to replace the original cake liquid (mother liquor) by another pure liquid. Consequently a perfect separation between the solid and the original mother liquid is possible.
In addition to the delivery of a custom designed filter WFT provides the necessary process valves, pumps, tanks and other accessories to deliver a complete working filtration unit.
